22

Monday, I celebrated turning twenty-two with my darling fiance by making a trip to the National Aviary on the Northside. We've both been wanting to go there and it was one of the last things on our Pittsburgh bucket list that we hadn't yet crossed off. It was a lot of fun! We even paid extra to see a show with the corniest name: "Parrots of the Carribean". Afterwords we stopped at Prantl's Bakery for treats and then hung out at home for a bit before I went to choir rehearsal and then met up with my best friends at Rock Bottom for dinner. I was a bit put off that is was snowing (come on! it's the end of March!) but it was a great day and I still can't believe that I'm 22. It just sounds so much more grown up than 21. Maybe because I've known for the last couple of years that I would be 22 when I got married... it's all starting to become more real! Things are really busy with school right now since we only have a few weeks left, but I'm hoping to post some pictures from Easter/Anthony's birthday this weekend.
